SAE's Scholarship program is passionate about discovering and investing in individuals who will make a positive impact in the future of the creative industries. Applicants are considered on their creative skill, academic excellence and leadership. SAE Australia offers a range of domestic scholarships to assist students during their studies including full-tuition scholarships, grants and bursaries. 

Bachelor of Songwriting and Music Production Scholarship

Calling all songwriters! With the launch of the Bachelor of Songwriting and Music Production in May 2021, SAE is delighted to offer a full-tuition scholarship to musos who are ready to launch their music career.

Follow in the footsteps of SAE graduates like Sampa The Great; Taya; Godlands; and 2020 ARIA winner, Chelsea Cullen. Designed for songwriters and producers, by songwriters and producers - you’ll develop real-world skills through this unique learning experience.

  • Applicants are to be domestic or onshore international students wishing to commence study in a Bachelor of Songwriting and Music Production for the May 2021 intake with a Full-time study load. NOTE: International students must already be residing in Australia with a valid VISA.
  • Applicants must remain enrolled post-T2 census date
  • Applicants have completed the application form and supplied their portfolio link
  • Applicants must meet SAE's published entry requirements

Scholarship Application Process

Applying is simple. Complete the application form which includes a 500-word statement and a link to your online work portfolio.
Successful applicants will be required to provide supporting material for their application including; references, identification and school results as required.

  2. Review SAE: Prepare your statements understanding the background of SAE and what SAE can provide you with for your studies. Outline our ambitions and what you are interested in so we know you are a perfect fit for an SAE scholarship.
