SAE’s courses in VFX and Virtual Production have been specially designed to nurture your creative talents and enhance your technical skills, combining the best of both worlds to help you unlock your full potential.
Covering the fundamentals of VFX and virtual production through to advanced strategies and techniques, you’ll build a diverse skillset in VFX, compositing, real-time engines, procedural graphics, 3D modelling, virtual environments, animation, texturing and shading.
You’ll master cutting-edge, industry-standard equipment such as virtual production studios, motion capture suits, high-end digital film cameras and green screens.
In addition to your core units, you’ll choose from a pool of electives to develop a specialisation in one of three areas: Virtual Production, VFX, and Technical Art.
As you develop your expertise and work on more dynamic projects, you’ll collaborate with fellow SAE students and apply your skills to multidisciplinary projects in Computer Science, Film, Games and Animation.
In the final trimester placement, you will get the opportunity to put new skills into action by experiencing working life in an industry of your choice. This ensures you graduate feeling confident and career ready.
