Becoming an Australian University College

From 2023, SAE is registered as a University College with the Australian Government’s Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) (TEQSA Provider ID Number: PRV12042). TEQSA accreditation and registration falls under the Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency Act 2011.

SAE University College is authorised to self-accredit its own programs in Creative Arts and Computer Science at levels 5, 6 and 7 of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)

Vocational Education and Training (VET)

SAE University College is also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that is regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). Our vocational education and training (VET) courses are nationally recognised. Our RTO code is 0273.

SAE Campus
Commonwealth register of institutions and courses for overseas students (CRICOS)

Only approved colleges may offer courses to overseas students as per the Commonwealth of Australia Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS).

SAE University College is approved to deliver courses to overseas students in Australia on student visas. Our CRICOS code is 00312F. Approved courses offered to overseas students are listed in the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).


FEE-HELP and VET student loans

SAE University College is an approved provider under the Commonwealth of Australia Higher Education Support Act 2003.

This means that FEE-HELP Commonwealth Assistance is available for eligible Australian and New Zealand citizens for our higher education courses including our bachelor degrees, associate degrees, and diplomas.

Commonwealth Assistance through VET Student Loans is available for eligible Australian and New Zealand citizens enrolling in our VET Diplomas. Please visit the Study Assist website for more information on Commonwealth assistance and eligibility requirements.
