The Mackie 1604VLZ4 Simulator is the second digital console simulator developed by Dr. Mark Bassett as part of SAE’s groundbreaking Virtual Tools Project.

SAE AUDIENT ASP4816 SIMULATOR

An Audient mixing desk was chosen to be at the heart of the ground-breaking, SAE Audient ASP4816 Simulator. This game-changing innovation is the brainchild of Dr. Mark Bassett. This unique digital tool provides students with remote access to a fully-functional, audio capable, photo-realistic simulation of the small format Audient ASP4816 console. It was developed as a learning and teaching tool to help students remotely develop a foundational understanding of the signal flow and operational idiosyncrasies of the console. Read more.

SAE PARAMETRIC EQUALISER TRAINING

SAE Parametric Equaliser Training is a technical ear training (critical listening) application created by Dr. Mark Bassett to teach students to identify the centre frequency of a parametric equaliser applied to any imported audio file.
