What is the main purpose of this event?

This is not an Open Day. Summer Series is a 3-day workshop, where students get the chance to try equipment, and work on real coursework, in order to assist with their career decision making. Attendees spend their days in the classroom, working with lecturers and industry professionals, to experience what student life is like at SAE. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Yes - this event is open to anyone aged 14 years and above.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking: there is very limited parking available around the Brisbane campus due to busy weekend events in West End, including the Davies Park Market across the road. We recommend choosing public transport, or using the larger Secure Parking areas on Melbourne St and Cordelia St. For more information, visit our Campus Transport page

We recommend bringing along: notebook and pen, a USB with a minimum of 2GB space, water bottle, jumper or warm clothing for air conditioned rooms, any other items that you will need to participate in the classroom for 3-days (e.g. medications, stationary).
