Bio
Dr Sean Foran is the Head of School, Sound (Audio & Music) at SAE University College Brisbane. An acclaimed composer, pianist, and educator, Sean has received ARIA and Q Music Jazz Award nominations, APRA awards, and international recognition. He has performed and composed across the UK, Europe, Asia, and Australasia, collaborating with leading jazz and classical artists and major institutions such as the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
Holding a Doctorate in Musical Arts, Sean’s research focuses on improvisation, live electronics, contemporary music education, and collaborative creativity.
