Bio

Renée Brack is a screen professional and lecturer at SAE University College.

She is a highly experienced storyteller, journalist, and writer with over 20 years’ experience across film, TV, print, and digital media. She has written, produced, and directed films, including the award-winning Ticketyboo (2022) and Carshare (2024), and scripted the multi-award-winning short film Red Handed (2017).

A key element of her work is a creative and fresh approach to screen stories, often eliciting the response, “I’ve never looked at it that way before.” She is passionate about giving back to the filmmaking community by mentoring emerging practitioners to make award-winning, industry-recognised productions at SAE.

Her academic research includes pioneering a scripting template for immersive content (VR, CVR, 360) and investigating the impact producer role for her PhD, bringing current, real-world production experience to her students.
