Bio

Hugh Sullivan is a Film Lecturer at SAE Adelaide and an accomplished writer, director, and editor with experience across film and commercial production. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Flinders University and a Master of Arts (Directing) from the Australian Film, Television & Radio School.

Hugh’s feature film The Infinite Man screened internationally at SXSW, Sitges, Edinburgh, Fantasia, Brussels, and the Melbourne International Film Festival, cementing his reputation as an inventive and distinctive screen storyteller. Alongside his feature work, he has contributed to a variety of screen and advertising projects, and previously lectured at UniSA.

At SAE, Hugh shares his deep knowledge of narrative craft, directing performance, and the creative development process, supporting students to build strong conceptual foundations and industry-ready filmmaking skills.
