Edna Zhang is the department coordinator for animation and design at SAE Perth.

Edna’s design journey started in 2001 in a small agency. From there she grew a passion for advertising and worked with Ogilvy and DDB, managing advertising campaigns for brands such as BBC.com, Motorola, GettyImages and ASUS to name a few. She completed her Masters in Design Futures with RMIT University and that experience renewed her belief and exploration in humanistic design; a way of thinking about design that she hopes to share with her students. She has been teaching design since 2011 and is excited by the emerging disruptions of technology, the progression of design thinking today and partnering with students to achieve their potential in Design. Outside of teaching, she is a new mum who is enjoying the joys of parenthood. She also loves a good session of karaoke!
