Scholarships at SAE

International Applicants

The SAE International Scholarship Program rewards outstanding international students applying for a Bachelor degree, commencing their studies in 2022.

The program invests in future industry professionals; rewarding creative skills, academic excellence, and strong leadership. SAE Australia offers scholarships to assist students during their studies including a $15,000 tuition Kickstarter Scholarship for year 12 students graduating in 2021, and multiple $3,000 Cash Study Grants to new students.

Applicants are considered for their creative skill, academic excellence and leadership.

Our annual Scholarship Program runs until November 30th 2021 and is available to international students residing in Australia only.

 

KICKSTARTER SCHOLARSHIP


One x $15,000 Tuition Scholarship
Bachelor Degree*

$15,000 Tuition Scholarship for a high achieving Year 12 student applying for a Bachelor degree commencing in February 2022 (*diploma available in Adelaide only) studying full time.

Campus Available: Any campus locations (1 x scholarship available)
Discipline Available: Animation, Audio & Music, Design, Film, Games Development

Grants Available: 1 per campus location.

Eligibility Criteria: 

Applicants must meet SAE’s published entry requirements
Applicants must agree to SAE’s International Applicant scholarship policy
Applicants must be new commencing students who have not previously studied with SAE
Applicants must be 17 years of age  turning 18 the first year of study or older
Applicants must be international students, residing within Australia and hold an international student visa

Applicant must have completed year 12 in 2021

STUDY GRANTS


Five x $3000* Cash Grants
Bachelor Degree

SAE is supporting the evolving creative industries by investing in its future leaders, offering new students $3,000 cash grants. Grants will be awarded to outstanding applications from students who apply to study for a Bachelor Degree at SAE campuses, commencing study in February 2022 with a full-time study capacity. 

Grants Available: Five grants are available at each SAE Campus: Sydney, Melbourne, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Perth
Discipline Available: Animation, Audio & Music, Design, Film, Games Development

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet SAE’s published entry requirements
Applicants must agree to SAE’s International Applicant Study Grant policy
Applicants must remain enrolled post-T1 census date
Applicants must be international students, residing within Australia and hold a valid international student visa, planning to study in a Bachelor Program for the February 2022 intake with a Full-time study load.

How to Apply

Applying is simple. Complete the application form which includes a 250-word statement and a link to your online work portfolio.
Successful applicants will be required to provide supporting material for their application including; references, identification and school results as required.

Top 3 Application Tips

  1. Review your use of professional language: Apply for a scholarship as if you’re applying for a job, avoiding the use of abbreviations and slang, ensuring your application is concise.
  2. Review SAE: Prepare your statements understanding the background of SAE and what SAE can provide you with for your studies. Outline our ambitions and what you are interested in so we know you are a perfect fit for an SAE scholarship.
  3. Review grammar and files: Ensure you have checked your application for spelling and grammar and that all your supporting documentation and portfolio is attached and accessible for the panel to review.
