SAE Institute, the global arm of SAE University College, has partnered with GLS University in Ahmedabad to launch India’s first Global B.Design (Hons.) programme in Animation, VFX and Game Development. The new four-year degree brings SAE’s internationally recognised creative media education to India and places industry experience and hands on learning at the heart of the curriculum.

The programme will officially launch at a ceremony on 8 December, attended by senior leaders from GLS University and Navitas Careers and Industry.

Giving Indian students global access to industry grade creative media education

For the first time in India, students will be able to study a B.Design (Hons.) degree that integrates SAE’s global curriculum, project-based training model, and professional studio environments. As the only authorised campus in the country to deliver SAE’s international certification, GLS University will give students access to the same world class creative media education offered across SAE’s 47 campuses worldwide.

Students will graduate with an SAE Institute qualification, accredited and awarded as a B.Design (Hons.) by GLS University. This internationally recognised certification greatly enhances global career mobility and job prospects.

The partnership brings a career focused, studio led experience to India’s rapidly expanding creative and entertainment industries. Students will work on real briefs, learn in industry standard facilities, collaborate across disciplines, and gain exposure to local and international opportunities.
