SAE's Creative First Nations Scholarship celebrates Indigenous students commencing a full-time Bachelor's degree. The scholarship covers half the tuition costs of successful applicants.

Entry Requirements

  • Applicants must meet SAE’s Entry Requirements
  • Applicants must be new commencing students who have not previously studied with SAE and enrolled into a bachelor’s degree
  • Applicants must be 17 years of age turning 18 the first year of study or older
  • Applicants must have an offer to study at SAE OR have SAE University College placed as a preference in a relevant Tertiary Admissions Centre (TAC) to be considered for a Scholarship
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents
  • Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • Applicants must agree to SAE’s Scholarship Policy

Selection Criteria

In your application, you will need to include: 

  •  A 250-word statement for “What drives your passion for the creative industries and how will studying at SAE help you achieve your career goals?”
  • A link to your online work portfolio to support your application
  • Provide written proof of identity and heritage
