Bio
I started my practical media career in 2009 following my graduation from the SAE Institute Jordan (Diploma in cinematography) as a Director & Producer at a local TV station which produced and broadcasted television shows which focused on issues related to women, youth, and society.
A year later in 2010 I entered the arena of Arabic Drama and started working as a freelance film-maker and have since worked my way up the career ladder to become a Producer/Director.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to develop my experience by working on different projects in various countries namely The United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt and various other countries in the Middle East.
In 2015 I moved to Australia to continue my education at SAE to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production.
While studying in Australia, I had the opportunity to work for Matchbox Pictures on a feature film named “Ali’s Wedding” and I also volunteered on a number of short film projects and finally completed an internship at film distributor Umbrella Entertainment.
Following my graduation in 2016, I moved to Dubai, UAE, and I worked as a TV Producer on several TV series project that were broadcast on MBC, OSN, Abu Dhabi TV, Rotana TV.
Now I have returned to Amman, Jordan and started working for The Royal Film Commission as a training supervisor & film consultant.
What inspired you to enter into the career you’re in?
For as long as I can remember, I have had the desire to understand the world we are in.
To be able to comprehend the events surrounding me, the actions that takes place, and to understand life instead of just watching it pass by. This innate nature stayed with me while growing up, making me delve into the world of filmmaking as an educational and career path.
I have a Bachelors of Film Production in addition to a Diploma in Digital Filmmaking and a certificate in Cinematography.

- The amazing staff that were very helpful who supported us throughout the course.
Are you able to shed some light on how studying at SAE lead you to where you are now?
During my time at SAE I was fortunate enough to be involved on a number of exciting projects:
Cultural Advisor, Extras Casting Assistant and Interpreter at Matchbox Pictures on their feature film Ali’s Wedding. I was fascinated by the coffee culture in Melbourne so I decided to produce a documentary about it. Created/Directed a Short Film “Black to White” a story about a Syrian Refugee family that resettled in Australia. The film explores the realities of refugee migration, resettlement and readjustment. I wrote the story, raised the money through social media pages, arranged events and produced a video for a crowdfunding website.
What are your career highlights?
I have always wanted to be a film director, I worked on film sets and TV sets as an assistant director for several years, and after joining for my bachelor’s degree I was advised to focus more on production and that I would make a great producer in the future, so I started practicing and going on internships in production until I excelled.
After graduating I took my first job as a producer and I’m still going on with this career.
What projects are you working on at the moment?
The Royal Film commission Amman – Jordan
