Carlie Hanson is one of the fastest growing pop stars in the world. In just under two years, 19-year-old Carlie has made her way from working at a McDonalds drive-thru in a small Wisconsin town to becoming a full-fledged artist and songwriter who has graced the pages of iconic magazines such as CR Fashion BookNylon, L’Officiel, Relix, Paper and earned her a spot on Paper magazine’s list of “100 People Taking Over 2019.”

Her viral hit Only One featured on Apple Music's A-List Pop playlist, an Apple Music Playlist curated by Taylor Swift and Spotify's Today's Top Hits and ultimately landed her record deal with Warner RecordsCarlie released first EP Junk in June 2019 and has been streamed over 55 Million times worldwide!

After performing at several notable US festivals including Bumbershoot in Seattle and Summerfest in Milwaukee, Carlie opened for Australian pop superstar Troye Sivan on his Bloom Tour in the US and made her European/UK debut opening for YUNGBLUD. She will also be joining Lauv for his nearly sold out Australian/New Zealand tour this November.

She'll join Brad on ARVOS next Friday for a chat ahead of her show supporting Lauv at the Enmore Theatre.

Hear ARVOS with Brad every weekday from 3pm - 5pm.

On Friday November 22, Brad also be joined by award winning writer, singer and musician Josienne Clarke to talk about her new album 'In All Weather'.

In All Weather is a new collection of songs, in which she goes it alone;  musically, as this is her first solo record, and in her own life, laid bare and played out in the leave-it-all-behind-and-start-anew nature of the lyrics. The album is out now through Rough Trade / Remote Control.

In the last two years, Josienne has supported the great Richard Thompson on a dream-come-true tour of the UK and opened for the legendary Robert Plant in Europe.

The summer of 2018 saw her perform with guitarist Ben Walker at some of the UK’s best-loved festivals, including Latitude, Larmer Tree and End Of The Road. She even found herself in demand as a writer and broadcaster, contributing to Standard Issue magazine and appearing on BBC Radio 3’s The Verb to discuss her pet subject melancholy, alongside poet Simon Armitage.

With several new records and theatrical productions to look forward to in 2019, Josienne Clarke remains one of the most impressive, accomplished and downright heart-breaking singers, lyricists and composers we have.

Hear ARVOS with Brad every weekday from 3pm - 5pm.
