SAE PROVEN TO BE AN EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR STUDENTS AND GRADUATES

9 May 2019

At SAE, we are committed to making your study experience, rewarding, enjoyable and successful. This is reflected in what our students and graduates say about us in the latest Australian Government Survey of undergraduate education satisfaction released this year.

The 2018 Student Experience Survey (SES) and Graduate Outcomes Survey (GOS) form the National Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) Survey.*

The QILT results position SAE number one above Australia’s top five ranked Universities* in the following categories;

  • Teaching Quality
  • Learner Engagement
  • Student Support
  • Skills Development.

We also scored higher than Australia’s top five Universities in graduate outcome categories such as Teaching and Skills Scale.

Overall Quality of Educational Experience is above the national average, with students giving us an 80.8% satisfaction rating

SAE scored above the national average in student and graduate categories such as Teaching Quality, Skills Development and Skills Scale, that measures how student’s studies had improved their generic skills.

SAE also scored well above the national average in the following categories:

Learner Engagement - 76.7% compared to the national average of 63.2%
Student support - 85.6% compared to the national average of 73.1%
Teaching Scale - 78.6% compared to the national average of 62.9%

General Manager of SAE Australasia Lee Aitken says that SAE is proud to once again see really strong outcomes in the results of the 2018 QILT Survey.

“Our primary focus is happy, engaged students who go on to achieve great things as graduates. We are pleased this commitment has been reflected in our strong rankings and in comparison to Australia's top Universities”

“SAE is dedicated to delivering quality academic programs and providing extensive support services which ensure students excel in all aspects of their learning journey, it’s therefore no surprise this effort is reflected in our survey results from 2018,” Lee says.

QILT is independently commissioned by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training, outcomes are based on thousands of surveys completed by students across Australia. The results are up to date, because the surveys are completed every year.
SAE participates voluntarily in the survey.
