The annual SAE Brisbane Graduation Ceremony was held on March 19 at the Old Museum Building. Graduates from Animation, Audio, Design, Film, Games and Web programs were presented with their testamurs in a formal ceremony in front of family and friends.

Special guests included Deputy Chair of the Academic Board, Dr Helen Lancaster, who gave an inspiring guest speech about the importance of creative media, and the impact of SAE’s unique programs in the creative landscape.

Valedictorian Tamika Stasiuk was presented with an award for her outstanding results in Animation, and gave a short address about her experience, and the experience of others in her cohort on the path to becoming a graduate. The Valedictorian award is presented to the student with the highest grade point average in the graduating cohort.

Phillip Christopher also received the Most Outstanding Student Award, for his studies in the Bachelor of Creative Media, which is presented to the student with the highest grade point average for each degree program nationally.

Students and their families enjoyed light refreshments after the event, with many staying to socialise with staff and students until late in the evening.

Congratulations to all our 2013 Graduates!
