Change of course
& deferrals

SAE programs are designed to provide students with flexible learning pathways. This includes provisions for 'nested' awards, specialisations and flexible exit points for students.

Change of course

A student may change their program level or specialisation throughout their enrolment, provided admission requirements and other eligibility and credit transfer requirements are met. SAE Student Services staff are available to support students with a change of program scenarios. For more information, arrange a meeting to discuss your needs with your local SAE Student Services staff.

Campus transfer

A new city. A familiar community. Continue your SAE journey at another campus that offers your program, with opportunities to meet new people and explore a different creative scene. Contact your local Student Services team to discuss your options and get support with the campus transfer process.

Students who have received a letter of offer or are current SAE students may choose to defer their studies at any stage. For more information, please contact your local Student Services team or review the Student Progression Policy.
