The Bachelor of Music will provide you a unique opportunity to build all the essential skills for creating a successful career in today’s modern music industry. You’ll learn and apply theoretical knowledge and best practices while accessing studios with cutting-edge equipment.

SAE’s Bachelor of Film puts you in the spotlight from day one, ensuring you gain the practical experience and technical knowledge needed to launch yourself into the world of motion pictures.

Our curriculum covers the fundamentals of film through to advanced cinematography techniques, helping you build a diverse skillset in directing, production management, set design and editing.

As your skills develop and you work on more dynamic projects, you’ll collaborate with fellow SAE creatives and apply your expertise to multidisciplinary projects across audio, games, design, and animation.

You’ll showcase your growth and creativity through project-based assessments backed by your rich knowledge of current production practices. These projects will form a dynamic portfolio tailored to prospective employers and future clients.

Diploma of Game Development

Your journey from gamer to gaming professional begins with SAE’s Diploma of Games Development.

Within a matter of months, you’ll learn key fundamentals and explore the latest industry-standard software in a hybrid learning environment.

With expert guidance from our industry mentors, you’ll build your technical skill set in game development, mechanics, dynamics and game design.

In partnership with your course peers, you’ll work in a team to pitch, design, plan and deliver a game in response to a brief. Your project will extend your design and scripting skills, allowing you to craft a broader range of gameplay systems and features.

To complement your technical skills, you will graduate with employability skills, introductory project management skills, and a diverse portfolio of work fit to impress your prospective employers.

Upon completion of the Diploma, you’ll be eligible for up to 80 credit points towards the Bachelor of Games Development, providing a clear pathway for further creative studies at SAE.

Our Associate Degree of Design & Visual Communication provides students with the in-demand skills required for long-term success in design roles across a variety of industries.
