Sydney students take out People’s Choice at Game Jam Sydney

26 Feb 2014

SAE Sydney animation and games students, Brendan Hickey, Geoff Hill, Dale Kerr and Belinda Potbury, have taken out the People’s Choice Award at the 2014 Game Jam Sydney.

Their winning game is titled ‘See Tyrol’, and has been described by Geoff as an “Oculus Rift horror exploration game”.

‘See Tyrol’ was created as part of the Global Game Jam, an annual event that takes place simultaneously in more than 140 locations around the world. Each team is given 48 hours to create a game from scratch, based around a top-secret brief released at the start of the event.

Our biggest congratulations to Brendan, Geoff, Dale and Belinda- we look forward to seeing many more of their future projects!
