Riverstone charms Byron Bay

8 Apr 2014

SAE Byron Bay staff and students were treated last week when Tweed Heads duo, Riverstone visited the campus and spent their lunch hour jamming in the sun.

Sean O’Hara and Shayne Davis, the extremely talented musicians who make up Riverstone were visiting the campus to record a demo with trimester three Audio student, Emmett Goddard.

A duo for two years, Sean and Shayne are hoping this demo will get them some exposure and ultimately help with their entry into Woodford Folk Festival.

Diploma of Sound Production student Rhy Bendele enjoyed the music so much, he offered to assist them with a logo, business card and album artwork. Whilst studying Audio, he also loves design and has completed some partial study in the area. He’d love to complete his audio course and also help local artists with design work.

Just another day at SAE Byron Bay. Live music, studio sessions, multi-talented students, dedication and generosity.
