Rise and shine

18 Jul 2014

Last week, while Brazil were copping a flogging from Germany in the Wold Cup Semi Finals, our Student Services team prepared breakfast for our on-campus accommodation students. By the time we got started at 7am, our Brazilian accommodation prefect (and World Cup mascot/commentator), Felipe Cintra Cipriani, had suffered enough humiliation and had gone back to bed. He surfaced a while later and made a batch of delicious acai and berry smoothies to help ease the pain.

The Rise and Shine breakfast was not just a great opportunity to introduce some fruit into our students’ diets(!), but also a great opportunity to welcome our newest audio students visiting from the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) in chilly Invercargill, New Zealand. The SIT crew will be completing their Advanced Studio Production and Audio Post Production units here at SAE Byron Bay over the next three months.
