LIVE FROM SAE SYDNEY

30 Sep 2019

SAE and its live broadcast partner, Energy Groove Radio, are offering Australian artists a unique opportunity to perform live to their listeners both in Australia and abroad.

Individual artists and bands are invited to nominate for the Live from SAE Sydney sessions which are broadcast during The Music Weekly prime time program on Energy Groove every Friday from 5-6pm. Hosted by SAE graduate Jackson Higgins, The Music Weekly brings the latest music news, live performances and artist interviews from the Aussie and independent music scenes to listeners worldwide.

Artists chosen for the program will be interviewed by Jackson and perform live to air from the multi-million dollar SAE Sydney campus in Chippendale. The performance will be mixed, mastered and filmed by SAE students and shared across Energy Groove’s social media networks.

The Live from SAE Sydney sessions have already featured performances from notable artists such as Angie McMahon and Laura Imbruglia from Melbourne, Dande & The Lion, The Honey Nothings and Lost Tropics from Sydney and Bri Clark from Perth.

SAE Institute’s Regional Manager of Talent & Programs at Energy Groove Media, Brad Duence, says Energy Groove is proud to be able to support original live music in Sydney, especially during challenging times for the local live music scene.

“Live music plays a key role in enriching the cultural tapestry and landscape of a city. Being able to use the brilliant facilities at SAE Sydney to send live performances straight to air to listeners - with no delay - is really exciting and rewarding for all involved," Brad says.

Local Sydney and touring artists and bands can email their expression of interest to brad.duence@energygroove.media with a short bio including links to their music and social media sites.
