TRAVEL ARRIVAL INFORMATION

To help you plan your arrival to Australia we have provided a list of key airport information that will assist you in making your way to your accommodation and campuses.

BYRON BAY
International Airport Arrivals: Byron Bay is located within driving distance of three airports:

1.   Gold Coast International Airport (1 hour by car):Gold Coast International Airport

2.   Brisbane International Airport (2 hours by car):   Brisbane International Airport

3.   Ballina-Byron Gateway Domestic Airport (30 minutes by car). This is a domestic airport with flights connecting from either Sydney or Melbourne International airports:   Ballina-Byron Domestic Airport

There are several providers offering airport transport services by bus from all three airports directly into Byron Bay.  For a full list of Airport Transfer providers go here.

BRISBANE
Arriving international students can download maps and find information about transport from Brisbane Airport here.

MELBOURNE
Melbourne Airport Student Welcome Desk: At the welcome desk international students can get information about accommodation, shopping, transport, Internet and phone connections, public transport, how to find employment and information about tax and banking in Australia.

Located: Travellers Information Service, International Arrivals Hall, Ground Floor, Terminal 2, Melbourne Airport.

PERTH
Perth Airport Welcome Desk: The Study Perth Welcome Desk staff will ensure that new International Students feel welcome, and will provide essential information to assist with settling in Perth.  Students will also receive a welcome pack containing maps, vouchers and other gifts.
Location: Directly opposite of the Arrivals Hall in Terminal 1.

Hours: Open from 5:00am to 2:00am*

*When the Welcome Desk is closed, students can collect an information pack from the Perth Airport Information Desk, located next to the Welcome Desk.

SYDNEY
Sydney Airport International Student Welcome Desk:
At the welcome desk international students can get advice, maps, guides and information about accommodation and transport.  

Hours: Open 7am-11am &  6pm-10pm, 7 days a week during semester intakes and weekends at other periods.

ACCOMMODATION

There are a range of accommodation options available to students choosing to study at SAE. Byron Bay is our only campus that provides on-campus accommodation, however there are a number of options available close to our other campuses.

Sydney:

Melbourne:
