What is Info Night?

Info Night will give you an opportunity to explore our new Campus on Franklin Street. You will also have the opportunity to check out the SAE facilities and hear from our lecturers and industry experts.

There will be information seminars about all our courses available, as well as our student support initiatives and services!

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS:

SAE continues to undertake Government advice regarding COVID-19. Attendance at this on-campus event will be strictly limited and SAE will adhere to the social distancing restrictions in line with National and State-based government regulations.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and reduced capacity you must register for Info Night in order to attend. We ask that you bring no more than one guest with you to the event and they must also register.

Your registration to attend is your agreement to the SAE Physical Distancing Agreement conditions.

  • All guests will sign in upon arrival and adhere to SAE’s COVID safe plan.
  • Transport to and from SAE Adelaide will need to be organised by attendees.

Camp VR is a virtual reality experience where you play as a scout who must overcome challenges and trials in order to collect badges and earn high scores.

The player starts the game at the campsite where they can explore and relax by the fire.

From here, the player can participate in three mini-games; archery, woodchopping and rock climbing.

Overview

Commander Sam is an award-winning film created by SAE students from SAE Melbourne.

The story is about Sam and Neil, who are astronauts, and their world is surrounded by space-inspired creations. Sam spends her night in a spaceship forged from her father’s work van who works night construction, but after a dangerously close encounter, their relationship is challenged.

Overview

Guitar Gods is a 2D animated short created in Trimester 6 (final) of the Bachelor of Animation.

The work represents the cross-collaboration between an SAE animation student, Danial Shafi’i, and an SAE audio student, Darrian Warner. It perfectly encapsulates the collaborative nature of creating at SAE – a fusion of music and visual animation/effects.

Overview

MitchID is the work of Mitchell Viney and served as his personal branding identity which he used for his professional portfolio and online presence. The project aims to highlight his 3D illustration, branding and graphic design skills.

Industry professional programs such as the Adobe Suite were integrated with 3D software such as Maxon Cinema 4D. Mitch experimented with colour, tone and texture to create these 3D illustrations exploring themes such as organic / nature VS structural/man-made.
