This course covers the essentials of audio engineering and electronic music production (EMP). Develop the skills and creative principles needed to write/produce your own professional-quality compositions.

The Certificate III in Music Industry (Electronic Music Production) is ideal if you:

  • Make music
  • Experiment with electronic sound synthesis
  • Would like to work more efficiently with your equipment
  • Would like to remix music more effectively

ADELAIDE APPLICANTS:  Certificate III in Music Industry is offered at Adelaide Campus over a 6 month duration. 

BYRON BAY APPLICANTS: This training is subsidised by the NSW Government (Smart and Skilled). Prospective students are encouraged to visit the Smart and Skilled website for further criteria on eligibility and the subsidies available. You can check your eligibility here.

Enrolment: Documents required for enrolment are: SAE Student Enrolment Form, Current Photo ID, Official Education Record, Proof of living or working in NSW, Proof of Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency. 

If you are eligible for a subsidised place, further evidence proving any concession will be required prior to commencement. You will also be required to sign a Consent to use and disclosure of Personal Information Form. All evidence must be provided one week before commencement.   • Music theory fundamentals for the electronic musician Incorporating music technology into live performance
  • Developing workflows to complete projects
  • Techniques for building an online presence
