This unit focuses on sound production using virtual instruments in audio software. Students will learn about sampling and synthesis and their application in creating sounds. Practical projects include techniques used for sound design in the electronic music production context.
This unit exposes students to the different production techniques and workflow used to complete an original production. Focus is on developing skills used for planning, developing music parts using MIDI and the foundations of mixing a project.
Course Units - Trimester 2
